PRENATAL: At least one prenatal visit in our office (approx. 2 -3 hours). We will discuss: health history, labor & delivery preferences, creating a birth preference list, and exercises. The 2nd prenatal is typically in-home and covers comfort measures you may wish to use during labor, goals for labor and bonding, and any other concerns you and your partner have. We can also review the foundations for breastfeeding if you desire and plan for us to support you during initial latch. Basic Doula service includes 2 pre-natal meetings at the client's discretion.

LABOR SUPPORT: We provide labor support from the time you call us to attend your labor until after your baby is born (including breastfeeding/feeding help if you like). We use birth balls and peanut balls and can provide hands on comfort measures such as massage, and offer a variety of positions for labor and delivery. Photography; we are thrilled to take random shots during labor and delivery with your camera/phone, but our priority will be supporting you.  There are excellent professional birth photographers in Central Ohio.

POSTPARTUM: We will remain with you 1 to 2 hours after birth. A postpartum visit will be arranged at your convenience, generally 2 days to 2 weeks after your birth, and will occur in-home. We will review the birth notes and observations made during labor and delivery. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions and review anything you did not understand or are concerned about.
